Shinko 244 on the left and Kenda 270 on the right. Although the center tread pattern is almost the same, the Shinko has more substantial knobs especially on the outside which gives it a much more stable feel when leaned over. Those tiny small side knobs on the Kenda's flex very easily while the Shinko side knobs are larger and more stable. Plus on the Shinko, every other side knob is tied into another knob a bit further in. This helps too with it feeling more planted on the pavement.
